Finding the perfect swimsuit is not so easy! it’s even harder after having kids and if you’re like me always ordering online.
I’d have to say, I am more on the conservative side when it comes to swimsuits. Since having kids, I’ve done tankinies, one pieces, and just this year a high waisted bikini.
Here are my favs!
For reference I and 5”8 with a long torso and when not pregnant 😉, wear a size 8 pants/dress.
I absolutely love this suit! It is by far my favorite one piece suit. I love that it has full coverage and ruching over the stomach area, but yet has the mesh section over the front as well as back. It gives it just enough fun to make it more than just a mom suit! I ordered a size Large in this suit and it fits great!
This suit is another fav from my closet! It’s super fun with the one ruffle sleeve. It stays up well, even when playing with the kids in the pool. It runs small. I sized up two sizes when ordering and it fits great! I ordered a size 12.
Both of these black one piece suits are fun to wear, but as soon as I was pregnant and ready for swim suit season, they did not fit! I had a suit I wore in my previous pregnancy, but it made me feel like a granny. So I pulled out my favorite tankini, which is super cute and worked great!
My suit is 6 years old, so I couldn’t find the exact suit, but I might have to say I like this one better! It isn’t as low cut as mine and looks like it would work perfect for pregnancy and beyond! The sizing chart is very specific too!
I have been seeing so many influencers on Instagram sharing high waisted swimsuits. They are so cute! I really wanted to jump in that fashion trend although I was not sure how it would work with my growing belly. I ordered this suit and I am so glad I did! I ordered a size large and the bottoms pull perfectly over my 22 week belly. As I grow, they will be able to roll/scrunch down with no problem and still look super cute! The top is great too. I love that it has good coverage yet is still fun. I never thought I’d be a bikini mom again, but this suit is a winner!
All of these suits look fabulous with my favorite summer sun hat! You guys know the one. I share it all the time. It’s easily packable and fits a variety of head sizes because it is adjustable.
