Meal planning is one of my favorite things to do. I love browsing recipes and finding things I think my family will love. Dinner is a sacred time at our house. It’s when we all come together after a long day to talk, laugh and enjoy each other’s company.
Having our meals planned for the week makes preparing for dinner with three little munchkins in tow so much easier. I know what I am going to make and that we have all the ingredients on hand. I make sure to purchase what I needed for our dinners during our weekly grocery haul. Another bonus of knowing what I am going to make is that I often start portions of dinner while the kids are napping. That helps A LOT!
Many times I will find a recipe on Pinterest and put my own spin on it, but I usually use the recipe as my starting point. I choose meals that I know my family will love. We do not follow any specific diet, but I do try to cook meals that are healthy-ish. Please, feel free to use my meal plans as a starting point for your family. Try the whole plan, or pick and choose. But whatever you do, enjoy the fact that the planning and searching is done for you. Check back weekly to grab a new meal plan for the new week.
